Working With your Higher Self

Your Higher Self exists beyond the confines of space and time. This is something that is difficult for the structured, linear mind to grasp. For example, from the point of view of the Higher Self, there is no past or future. It is all happening now. What you were doing last year is happening now, for example.

What you will be doing five years from now is occurring now. This gets further complex when we bring in parallel lifetimes and probabilities. When you make a significant choice in your life – say for example you decide to marry someone – you start a new branch in your life. If you had chosen not to marry the person, you would have started on a different branch. This seems logical and makes sense. What is difficult for the linear mind to grasp, however, is the fact that when you make a choice at significant choice points like this example, both choices exist. In other words, say you choose to get married. The life that would have existed if you chose not to get married still exists. There is an energetic part of you that is living the life you chose by not marrying. This is called a parallel lifetime. From the vantage point of your Higher Self, these parallel lifetimes exist just as your present point lifetime exists. 

Knowing this brings about interesting possibilities when working with your Higher Self. When you are able to negotiate the world of energy called the 2^nd attention by the Toltecs, you can work with past selves, future selves and parallel lifetimes. Why would you want to do this? Say you have something in your past that you are having difficulty healing. That part of you still exists in the past and is affecting you in the present. Through inner world work in energy you are able to move back to the past and rewrite your history. You can literally change your past by doing so.

In this lesson we will be focusing on using your future self to benefit your present self. As I alluded to above, you have different parallel lifetimes or probabilities. Some of these are more healed, more abundant, have more personal development, or have evolved more than others, and so on. Some of these future selves have worked through, refined and overcome many of the life challenges you are having now. They know what the solution is. They have ‘been there, done that’ so to speak and can pass this knowledge on to you. What is even more exciting with energy work is that not only can your future self pass on knowledge to you, but it can pass onto you the energy that contains the solution. In other words, the problem is already solved in the future self’s energy, and you can merge this energy into your present day energy.

As you know, your outer world is a manifestation of the energy of your inner world. When you bring in the energy of your future self to your inner world its energy shifts. This shift in energy in your inner world will manifest in your outer world.

Working with your future self becomes very real and tangible. After all your future self is you. It is you in a different timeframe. When you become proficient at working with energy, you may find yourself in the position of the future self, working with a past self. You will be motivated to do so because by assisting your past self to heal, grow and evolve, you also shift your present level of growth and evolution. In the world of energy all is connected and fluid. Your past self affects your present self. Your future self affects your present self. And your present self affects both your past and future selves. Your past, present, future, and parallel selves are all a team, so to speak working together with a common intent. All these past, present and future selves make up the totality of You, which is your Higher Self. Throw in your past lives, future lives and parallel lifetimes and you have a picture of Who you are at the level of your Higher Self in the earth-life-system. By working with your Higher Self in this way, you have access to all the knowledge, tools and energy that makes up the totality of You.
